I have a BAP1 germline variant. What are the implications for my family?
If you are found to have a BAP1 germline variant, then other members of your family may also have inherited the same variant and are at risk. BAP1-TPDS is inherited through in an autosomal dominant fashion which means that parents, siblings and children have a 50% or ½ in chance of also having the variant.
